I've always been a maker, I love creating. I started making jewelry in 2000 when I decided to take a beading class with some friends. I enjoyed it so much that I took more and more courses in my spare time away from my interior design business. The more I made, the better I got, and soon I had people asking to buy the jewelry I was making. One thing we did was another, and after about a year, I left the interior design business, created a website, and started participating in art shows. I never looked back. I have been self-employed since 2002 and continue to participate in art shows to this day. During the pandemic, I decided I wanted to learn how to do metalsmithing. So I took all of my classes on YouTube and I practiced, practiced, practiced. I learned about the tools and the techniques that I'm still learning. I love working for myself and creating beautiful jewelry that people love.
