Beautifully textured lead-free, pewter earrings with sterling silver ear wires. Not only do these earrings have a beautiful texture, but they have a beautiful shine to them. The length of the earring itself is 2 inches and the width is 7/8 inches. The drop on the earrings is 2 1/4''. The earrings come with a rubber ear nut to prevent loss; every item sold is gift-boxed and ready to give. These earrings are made by hand. The beauty of the lead-free pewter is that it is prolonged to tarnish. Polishing pads are great for polishing the pewter and sterling. They can be purchased on Amazon.
Pewter jewelry is inexpensive compared to its finer counterparts, it looks lovely, and it can be treated to look a lot like sterling silver in its various forms–from polished to patina’d and everything in between.

Meet the Maker
I've always been a maker, I love creating. I started making jewelry in 2000 when I decided to take a beading class with some friends. I enjoyed it so much that I took more and more courses in my spare time away from my interior design business. The more I made, the better I got, and soon I had people asking to buy the jewelry I was making. One thing we did was another, and after about a year, I left the interior design business, created a website, and started participating in art shows. I never looked back. I have been self-employed since 2002 and continue to participate in art shows to this day. During the pandemic, I decided I wanted to learn how to do metalsmithing. So I took all of my classes on YouTube and I practiced, practiced, practiced. I learned about the tools and the techniques that I'm still learning. I love working for myself and creating beautiful jewelry that people love. How it’s Made
The pewter earrings are patterned cut filed and cleaned. Then a hole is drilled in the top. The ear wires are made and attached.
