About this Product
Beautiful textured domed round 1'' disc earrings, in jeweler's brass. The ear wires are 20 gauge 14k gold and the disc is 21 gauge. These earrings shine and shimmer and are polished to perfection hammered and forged just for you, the perfect gift or addition to any jewelry box. Every item sold is gift boxed and ready to give. I suggest keeping your earrings in a Ziploc bag when you're not wearing them to prevent tarnish. The earrings are treated with renaissance wax to prevent tarnish but when they do need to be polished, I recommend barkeepers friend in a paste, but be sure and wash off all of the residue with dish soap as the residue will make it tarnish faster.

Meet the Maker
I've always been a maker, I love creating. I started making jewelry in 2000 when I decided to take a beading class with some friends. I enjoyed it so much that I took more and more courses in my spare time away from my interior design business. The more I made, the better I got, and soon I had people asking to buy the jewelry I was making. One thing we did was another, and after about a year, I left the interior design business, created a website, and started participating in art shows. I never looked back. I have been self-employed since 2002 and continue to participate in art shows to this day. During the pandemic, I decided I wanted to learn how to do metalsmithing. So I took all of my classes on YouTube and I practiced, practiced, practiced. I learned about the tools and the techniques that I'm still learning. I love working for myself and creating beautiful jewelry that people love. How it’s Made
The earring shapes are cut from 22 gauge brass sheet metal then they are drilled and filed. The next step is to forge tumble, clean, and polish them. The next step is to create the ear wires and attach them.
